Whittier Pony-13 World Series

Created in 2004, the foundation of the Pony-13 World Series was built on the idea of providing the best 13-year-old players in the world an opportunity to compete on an international level against the most elite PONY baseball teams on the planet. Past winners include teams from Mexico, Puerto Rico, California, Texas, as well as the 2017 winner Seoul, Korea.  Since moving from Chino Hills to Fullerton, the city of Whittier, California has hosted the Pony-13 World Series for the last four years. The event’s home, York Field, is located on Sante Fe Springs Road, minutes away from Uptown Whittier. Pony-13 World Series players, coaches, and their families have had the opportunity to visit Southern California thanks to this World Series event and create memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. Whittier’s Pony-13 World Series brings together teams from the PONY East, West, North, and South Zones of the U.S., as well as a team from Mexico, the PONY Asia-Pacific Zone, and the PONY Caribbean Zone. A Pony-13 team from Whittier (host team) also participates in the World Series.
