Day 3 Game 9 Recap
Corpus Christi, TX lost 2-1 to Long Beach, CA. The game was tied at one in the top of the eighth when Juan D Villegas II induced Connor Chase Barragan to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored. The pitching was strong on both sides. Long Beach, CA pitchers struck out 11, while Corpus Christi, TX sat down 10.
Long Beach, CA got on the board in the first inning after Kaenon Ferrer Mulhearn doubled, scoring one run. Gabriel X Trevino singled, which helped Corpus Christi, TX tie the game at one in the bottom of the sixth.
