Pony-13 World Series Skills Competition
 
The Skills Competition will feature two exciting events:  Home Run and the Fastest Runner contests. 

Schedule and Details:

• Home Run Contest (Round 1):  The competition will kick off at 5:00 PM with the first round of the Home Run Contest.  Each team will select one (1) player to participate, and coaches will pitch to their players.  Participants will receive three (3) warm-up pitches, in the first round only.  Players will have one (1) minute of pitches each to hit as many home runs as possible.

• Fastest Runner Competition:  Immediately following the first round of the Home Run Contest, the Fastest Runner competition will take place.  Each team will select one player to race from home plate to home plate, with the fastest time earning victory.  Participants failing to touch all bases will be disqualified.

• Home Run Contest Finals:   After the Fastest Runner competition, the top 3 players from the Home Run Contest (or any players tied with the highest total) will advance to the finals.  Home run totals reset to zero (0) for the final round.  Players will again face one (1) minute of pitches to try and hit the most home runs, with the winner determined by the highest final round total.  No warm-up pitches in the final round.  In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by the most home runs in the first round.  If a tie still exists, we will continue with additional round(s) (1 minute of pitches each round, no warm up) until a winner is determined.
